HealthShare NSW is Australia’s largest public shared service organisation, providing essential support to the NSW public health system. Its more than 7,500 employees make a difference to the lives of patients in public hospitals and the community every day through the delivery of services including food, linen, patient transport, procurement, ambulance cleaning and re-stocking, and equipment support services for people with mobility needs. We are also becoming increasingly involved as a problem solver for the various sections of NSW Health with the active involvement of our solutions focused Business Performance team. HealthShare NSW saves NSW Health around $95 million per year and is positioned strongly to drive innovation and service improvement for the sector.

eHealth NSW partners with NSW Health to plan, adopt and develop digital technologies and capabilities across the public health system that deliver and enable excellent patient-centred healthcare now and into the future. eHealth plans and manages ICT investments, maintains standards, designs and procures systems, manages implementations and commissions and provides ICT support services. Connecting and supporting Australia’s largest public health system, the work of eHealth NSW’s ICT professionals makes a difference every day to the lives of the 140,000 health professionals who provide healthcare to the people of NSW.
