The Avantgarde DV's light weight of approximately 9kg does in no way mean it's lost any advantages. If anything the manual wheelchair's ability to remove its leg support means it can easily turn into a self-propelled wheelchair if needed.
Additionally it has a handy back bag that users can easily reach to store items while its new short push handles has been optimised for low weight.
The wheelchair's desk side panel offers numerous functions to position the forearms and for transfers. Also it features multiple adjustment possibilities in addition to being able to swing away to the rear, behind the back or remove it altogether.
If that's not enough the elevated leg support can be height adjustable right up to the horizontal and if the rear bag can't hold anymore items, you have two pockets below the seat upholstery for storing more items.
For a more ergonomic care the telescopic push handles allows carers to adust it to their height in a few simple steps.
