We have a variety of equipment available for short or long term hire. We provide hire of basic electric wheelchairshigh-end powered wheelchairsmobility scooterspatient lifting hoists, fold-up hoistsstand-up hoists or ceiling hoist gantry systems. We offer a discount on any long term hire equipment (contact AMS).

The rental period starts from the day the equipment is collected or delivered from AMS showroom until the equipment is returned. A minimum of one week hire applies to all agreements.

Active Mobility Systems can terminate and collect equipment if:

  • ​Payments are not made by invoice due date.
  • Equipment has been misused.


Charges and Fees

  • Fees vary on type of equipment.
  • Delivery charges apply. Charges vary on location of delivery/ pick-up.
  • All hires are subject to a refundable $500 deposit.
  • Deposit to be held by Active Mobility until successful completion of hire.
  • Deposit may be forfeited in case of damage caused by negligence and breach of due care.
  • Disposable slings are available for additional purchase (S, M, L, XL)
  • Repairs and maintenance to the equipment whilst the equipment is on hire is the hirers responsibility


Payment Options

Credit Card Payments- We require a deposit of $500 for all hire equipment. Deposit will be refunded to client after hire period ends and equipment is returned to Active Mobility. If equipment is deemed not to be returned in satisfactory condition, the client will be liable for any restoration costs.
