The Half-Moon gives support and holds the patient comfortably when they're in a lying or sitting position. It can also be used to stabalise the upper body while the filling can be moved within the cushion so it can be arranged to adjust the head and arm height.

If the user wishes to counteract unwanted lateral movement of the body then the ends of the cushion can be pushed under the hip area with the idea to eliminate movement that will take the body out of the desired symmetrical position.

Composition and Filling

The cushion is composed of waterproof bi-elastic polyurethane covers with AG Protect bio-proof processing and is filled with 100% polystyrene micro-particles.

These fillings are as thin as sand, the extreme small form-factor of the mciro beads used in the cushion allows for rapid and easy postures, which maintains comfortably on patient in contact with the cushion to relieve pressure areas that are at risk of bedsores.

As a result the cushion is light and easy to use while adpatable to all morphologies while reducing pressure and giving support and hold the patient comfortably.
