The TurnSafe2 is an excellent aid that prevents injuries to the back of carers while assisting users with sit-to-stand and turning transfers. It's been developed with collaboration with medical personnel and users.
It activates and supports users with impaired balance and strength in the legs during transfers from bed to wheelchair or wheelchair to toilet. The product features a large foot plate with an anti-slip surface, adjustable height and lower leg supports.
Small and convenient, the TurnSafe2 is easy to have close at hand and easy to use making it useful for most scenarios. By keeping one foot on the brake, the caregiver can avoid any unwanted movements while the user is getting up, standing or sitting down.
