The Adapta2 Back Support meets the needs of wheelchair users with complex postural presentations including Lordosis, Anterior Pelvic Tilt, and prominent gluteal shelf. The rigid aluminium shell splits into two different sections that can be adjusted to achieve a natural contour to position and support the spine. The back support can provide the shape needed to support the user by contouring the aluminium shell rather than the foam padding.
The Adapta2 is designed specifically for users who require a back support surface with profile curvature adjustment to accommodate trunk contours. This allows said needs to be accommodated without having excessive foam paddings, which makes it easier to manage temperature and othe rrelated issues. Additionally the contoured surface remains supportive and holds its shape even when the seating system is tilted or adjusted.

- Presents with Lordosis and Anterior Pelvic Tilt and require extra support on the lumbar spine
- Requires greater lumbar support with specific pressure relieving to accommodate a gluteal shelf
